My husband and I took my sister and her family to Disney for their first time last year. My niece (then 5) loved having her picture taken with the characters and getting their autographs! We are starting to plan their next trip for June of 2006 and wondered if anyone knows about a list of characters that appear so we could get some of the ones she missed.

First, Welcome Winnie!! (Woo Hoo, first to Welcome someone again!!)
I think your best bet if you want to locate certain charecters missed last time is to ask at the parks for a schedule or names of who will be appearing and where.

Also, if there are certain ones (say, they want to see Mary Poppins or Mickey) you could always try to hit a charecter meal that features them.

Thank you for your suggestions. The last time we were there one of the cast members said that if we wanted a specific charector that all we had to do is go into one of the shops on Main Street and have them call to ask where that charector would be that day. I was just hoping that there was a list somewhere that would have all of the charectors listed so we could cross off the one's we already have. My sister and I are avoiding watching all of the movies and writing them all down! I know that I could always go through the Disney A-Z book and get quite a few as well but once again, I am looking for a shortcut!

Winnie, if you go into http://www.wdwplanner.com/ you can download a Character Finder Spreadsheet. It has every character that is at WDW. And like you were told before, if you are having trouble locating one then just ask any Cast Member with a phone to check for you. They can always tell you when and where! Have fun! May I suggest something to you also...everytime we go I pre purchase a 5x7 scrapbook for my Son. We take a picture with him and the character, that way the character can sign one page and we can place the picture of them together on the page across from it after we get home! He has one from each of his 3 trips and they make the absolute best souvenier. He looks through them all the time!
