| Disneyworld.com says appetizers on the kids' dining plan? Okay, so what the heck is up with this? We all know that Appetizers are no longer included on the 2008 Magic Your Way Basic Dining Plan, right? But check out this link: Walt Disney World Resort - Detecting Browser Properties . . . Quote:
And then check out the PDF brochure that's linked from that page: http://adisneyworld.disney.go.com/me...s/08Dining.pdf Quote:
This is the first I've heard/seen of this anywhere. Has anyone else noticed it? Has anyone gone so far in 2008 and can confirm this? | ||

| Celebrate Everyday! | I haven't used the DDP in 2008, but All Ears backs up what you're seeing. Looking at the kids' menus there, it looks like Disney has created "Kid's Picks" meals that include an appetizer (usually fruit or a salad), entree, beverage and dessert for a single price at their table service locations. But they also have (at the same restaurants) Kids' Complete Meals, which "include one serving from each of the five food groups" but do not list a separate appetizer.

| I noticed that as well and was kind of confused at first as I also saw where the appetizers were no longer included for adults. I wondered why they still included them for kids. We have the DDP and I printed the brochure so I could have it to refer back to easily. It clearly states that an appetizer (ages 3-9 only), entree, dessert, non-alcoholic beverage or a full buffet.

| I think maybe kids still get appetizers because their meals are so skimpy! When we went in February the appetizers offered were typically a small salad or a cup of chicken noodle or tomato soup. Nothing like regular appetizers so don't be jealous! If your kids are older than 2 they will need the extra food to make up for the miniscule meals!
